Delete your data
Last updated 3 October 2026
You can delete your account and all of its data yourself, in a few seconds. Here's how, and what happens.
In the app
- Open Settings (tap your picture at the top right).
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account and data.
- Type delete to confirm, then tap the button.
It happens straight away. If you'd like a copy first, use Settings › Your data to download a spreadsheet or everything as JSON.
To delete only the data synced from Google Health and keep your account, use Disconnect in Settings › Google Health and choose Disconnect and delete synced data. If you already disconnected and kept it, use Delete synced data there. Your check-ins and settings stay.
What's deleted
Your account and every row that belongs to it, in one step:
- your profile and settings, and the Google Health connection with its stored tokens;
- daily figures and scores, minute-by-minute heart rate, sleep sessions, workouts and sleep plans;
- check-in items and answers, insights, sync history and any feedback you sent;
- your beta waitlist entry, if you had one.
Product analytics events (such as “signed up”) are kept for counting, with the link to you removed. They never held health data. Backups roll off on our host's schedule, after which the data is gone from them too. One record that an account was deleted keeps its random account number, so that if we ever restore a backup we can delete the account again.
Google access
When you delete your account we ask Google to revoke our access, so we can't read anything more. You can also remove Tidestill yourself, at any time, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. That stops syncing but keeps what's already here until you delete it.
If you can't sign in
Email support@tidestill.com from the address of the Google account you used, and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm and delete everything within 30 days, usually much sooner.
